Hi, welcome to my website. My name is Jeff. The picture you see here is me...er, should I say, was me; back in 1986 or so. I was nearing my absolute top weight of 428lbs. At the time I was known as the "legendary" "Round Man Of Sound," spinning records in various nightclubs around my hometown.

| In reality, the only thing "legendary" about me at the time was my ability to eat more pizzas in one sitting than any of my friends. What caused me to stuff my face with food? It's a disorder called "Compulsive Overeating." |

Like countless others, I was convinced that I was doomed to a lifetime of misery. After numerous attempts at dieting, trying every weight loss gimmick known to mankind, I had virtually given up. What I didn't realize at the time was that I was merely attacking the symptom of the disease, not the causes. How fortunate I was to have found the Divine intervention of my Higher Power. He saw to it that I found recovery, and am now living a healthier, happier life. Thank you, God...for restoring me to sanity. Thanks also to all my friends and family who stuck by me for all those years, no matter how much it hurt. Recovery from any compulsive addiction is a lifetime process of self-discovery, change and growth. You can recover too, but you must ask yourself one very important question: "How much do I want it?" You see, once you decide you want to start fresh and do this for yourself, you have to do whatever it takes....for YOU. Put away the old idea that you can't do it...nothing could be further from the truth. You CAN do it. Can't never could, won't never will. You owe it to yourself to unlock the loving person inside of you and allow the real you to come forward to live. |
